So astutue readers, you may have noticed a huge change in the look and feel of the Soonr homepage. Despite being recognized for it’s design and thematics, our old website was really about branding. It firmly established us as an offering for mobile professionals and businesses with a partner focus.
I can’t tell what you do!
That was a common complaint from new users who visited our old website. We didn’t say enough about what you could do with Soonr and the benefits it offered. It was also very serious (dark and moody). So we have undergone a major overhaul. What you can do with Soonr is front and center in this message.

I hope you enjoy the new look. Look around (jump to new website) and you’ll see that it’s got a slick modern new design that present snippets of information in a more readable and benefit oriented format. And, I think you’ll be able to tell what it is we do! Drop us a note or comment and let us know if we’ve accomplished our goal.

ACCCKKKKKK!!! What did you do with the email tab? I am now unable to get into my outlook from the dashboard. Please put it back!!!!!
Matman – when evaluating the features that we supported in the final version of Soonr, we tried to include things that were not already readily available on most phones. As most smartphones have multiple email options (Exchange, POP, Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.) we decided to remove the email function in Soonr.
You can still use email in other ways though. For example, you can now email a photo (or other attached documents) from your phone to your Soonr account.
I know it isn’t the same as having a direct way to manage Outlook in your desktop from your phone, but unfortunately most people didn’t use that function so it was a call we had to make when allocating engineering resources.
We wil make a note of your request and if we hear enough people used that function, we can lobby for it’s return. I hope that you find all the other backup, access, and collaboration features of the new version of Soonr compelling additions to your business tools.
