Soonr just completed the move of its’ office, back to where we were before! We moved across the parking lot to the tower where it all began. There’s an awesome view of Silicon Valley from our offices numerous windows.

You can see San Francisco on a clear day!

When our lease expired in our office space and we found out that our original space was available, we moved back! You can see all of Silicon Valley and even San Francisco (about 1 hour north of us) on a clear day. In the picture above, Apple Computer is on the left, Moffet Field (where the Google guys park their airliner) is just left of center. San Francisco is just right of Moffet Field (way behind it) with the San Jose Airport in the middle. To the right, you can make out downtown San Jose and where one of Soonrs data centers is located.

Our new address is 1901 S. Bascom Ave. STE 1530, Campbell, CA 95008. If you are in the area, please visit!

One last thing. Our phone lines may not work just yet. We are having a heck of a time switching vendors and maintaining the same number. It’s a long story, just come visit in person or send email. We respond to those right away.

We all use documents at work. Maybe it’s a fact sheet, press release, product plan, or contract. Often times you need to get feedback from someone to complete a task and move the process along. What if that someone was not near a computer? How can you get them to review your document when they are mobile?

Soonr offers the ability to send an SMS to any phone in order to share a document. Now, sending an SMS is easy, but being able to actually see the document is challenging. What kind of phone does the person have? Will the phone be able to display the document type that I am sending? How would they give me feedback when I am also not by my desk? In these situations, the power of the cloud becomes a lifesaver.

Soonr knows how to adapt over 40 document types to 817 different mobile devices. So if you are using your iPhone to send a Visio diagram on your Macbook to a person using a Nokia E71, it’s not a problem! Just use Soonr’s Share feature, provide a phone number, and the cloud will handle the rest.

The recipient of the share will get an SMS link they can click on to see a custom version of the document for their type of phone. Soonr will recognize the phone type and serve up the proper resolution, color, depth, and format to best display on the phone.

We call this feature “Share on the Spot”. Phone to phone SMS sharing is something that no other service offers. Aren’t you glad you have Soonr?
